“La Calabria di Carta” exhibition

Maestro Giuseppe Carta a skilled sculptor from Banari - Sardinia ITALY will present this year at MACFRUT 2023 his exhibition “La Calabria di Carta” which has been thoughtfully conceptualized and curated by the artistic director Paolo Pecoraro.
Following on from his now famous sculpture of the Cipolla Rossa di Tropea Calabria IGP which is a 1.5m resin and bronze photo-realistic sculptural art piece, this year the exhibition will showcase 7 main pieces which depict the region’s DOP and IGP products. There will be an exciting new piece “CLEMENTINE of CALABRIA” unveiled at the expo.
This collaboration with the other consortia, farmers, of relevant municipalities and territories of Calabria, amplifies its strength which, is rich in biodiversity, history, and culture. It is our collective responsibility to work together to safeguard and promote these invaluable treasures that are crucial to the area’s economy, protecting the land for future generations.
MACFRUT is an international expo of Fruit & Veg and Giuseppe Carta’s exhibition will show some of the flagship products that will represent the Calabria Region to share information about the history, culture and traditions of Calabria.
